The Pet Foster Network has created two quality lesson plans for for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade social studies classes all tied to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. “Too Many Pets, Too Few Homes” and “Matchmaking” can educate children about the responsibilities of pet ownership and the problem of pet overpopulation.
